Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies

Within the study programme Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies, you can already choose a minor of 15 ECTS credits in the second year of the standard learning track (BA2). In the study guide you can find an overview of the six minors offered. Taking a minor other than these six is not allowed.

Once you have made your choice of a minor, you will select the course units you want to take. In doing so, you need to take into account the starting competencies of the different course units (to be found in the course sheets).

Think carefully when choosing a minor. It may be relevant for additional studies after your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies. For example, with a minor in Education, you can go directly on to the Master of Science in Teaching in Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies. Within the minor in History, you can take course units which may later be relevant for an additional teaching methodology in education. Or, if you would like to follow a Master of Science in Complementary Studies in Economics after your studies in Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies, a minor in Economics and Business Management may be interesting. So make sure you are well informed before making a choice!
